Our organization began in 1999 when a few families in the Research Triangle Area (RTP) of North Carolina met to celebrate Vishu in a traditional way. With each subsequent year, more and more Malayalee Hindu families joined the fold, and a formal organization named HIMAM (Hindu Malayalee Mandalam) was formed in 2016. Today HIMAM carries the Malayali Hindu mantle in the Triangle area and beyond.
A vibrant community deep-rooted in Kerala Hindu traditions and values; and practices Kerala Hindu observances and festivities.....
Organize events/observances to provide first-hand experience of such practices to our younger generation for them to appreciate.....
Organize/help organize cultural, religious, social, and educational activities and initiatives to support and fulfill HIMAM's vision and mission....
