Ramayana Parayanam: July 17 - August 16, 2026
Join the HIMAM community in observing the sacred tradition of Ramayana Parayanam during the holy month of Karkidakam (Karkidaka Masam), from July 17 to August 16, 2026.
With the blessings of Lord Sree Rama, we gather each evening in prayer and devotion to recite the Ramayanam, reflect on its timeless teachings, and strengthen our spiritual connection as a community. Families of all ages are warmly invited to participate in this auspicious month of devotion.
The Parayanam will be conducted daily via Zoom throughout the month, with in-person gatherings on weekends hosted by HIMAM families. This format enables members of our community to participate either from the comfort of their homes or by joining the weekend gatherings.
The observance will conclude with a Pattabhishekam Celebration on Sunday, August 16, at the HSNC Learning Centre, followed by a traditional Sadhya.
Weekend In-Person Gatherings
Those wishing to attend the weekend gatherings are requested to register via the RSVP Google Form, which will be shared every Sunday in the HIMAM Community WhatsApp group and via email. Registration will remain open until 5:00 PM on the following Wednesday to assist the host families with planning and preparations.
Daily Zoom Parayanam
The Zoom meeting details for the daily Parayanam will be shared with HIMAM members through the HIMAM Community WhatsApp group and email. Those interested in participating who are not yet connected with the HIMAM community are welcome to contact us for further information.
